Traditional HVAC units struggle with humidity when sensible cooling demands drop, leading to short-cycling and dangerous moisture spikes that threaten sensitive hardware. The Next-Generation SAWPAC solves this root problem by pairing a variable-capacity scroll compressor with a fully modulating Hot Gas Reheat (HGRH) coil.


By smoothly modulating compressor speed from 100 RPS down to 25 RPS, the unit can scale its cooling output from 25 tons all the way down to 1 ton. This allows the system to run continuously, keeping the 4-row evaporator coil surface below dewpoint for non-stop moisture removal. The HGRH coil then reheats the supply air back to a neutral temperature, effectively allowing the system to "cool for moisture only" without overcooling your facility. The result is total psychometric control and environmental stability, regardless of unpredictable data center cooling loads.


  • Variable Capacity Modulation: Smoothly scales from 50 tons down to 1 ton to eliminate short-cycling during low-load periods.

  • Modulating Hot Gas Reheat: Uses compressor discharge gas (0–100% effective turndown) to prevent overcooling, requiring no electric coils.

  • True Dual-Redundant Architecture: Independent refrigeration, power, and sensors with automatic lead/standby failover for N+1/N+2 designs

  • Advanced Airflow Control: Features EC Evaporator Fans (~10,000 CFM) and EC Condenser Fans (~16,556 CFM) for precision operations.

  • Industrial Controls Platform: PLC-based architecture with BMS-Ready open-protocol integration (monitoring, alarms, and diagnostics).

  • Multiple Operating Modes: Includes Standard Refrigeration, Dehumidification, and a built-in Economizer mode for ambient temperatures below 54°F.
