VAC & VACPB Series
Vertical Wall-Mounted A/C & Pressurization Units
The VAC Series provides robust, industrial-grade cooling and heating for extreme environments, offered in capacities from 1.5 to 6 tons. For hazardous locations requiring positive pressure, the VACPB model builds upon this platform by integrating an automatic pressurization system compliant with NFPA 496 Type Z, eliminating the need for separate filtration and blower modules.

Industrial Cooling with Optional Pressurization
The Safe Air Technology VAC Series is engineered to withstand the harshest industrial conditions, offering a durable baked enamel or stainless steel cabinet, high-efficiency scroll compressors, and 5-speed EC evaporator motors. These units are Class I, Division 2 certified, making them the standard choice for petrochemical, offshore, and wastewater facilities.
For buildings requiring declassification via purge and pressurization, the VACPB Series integrates the pressurization blower directly into the HVAC unit. This system draws in outside air, preconditions it through the DX cooling coil for temperature and humidity control, and maintains positive building pressure. This all-in-one design simplifies installation by removing the need for third-party blower kits and ensures compliance with NFPA 496 Type Z standards automatically.
Versatile Capacity: Available in 5 chassis sizes ranging from 1.5 Ton to 6 Ton.
VACPB Pressurization: Integrated blower provides 1,300 or 2,600 CFM of positive pressure airflow (NFPA 496 Compliant).
Intelligent Control: PLC-based controls (Allen Bradley Micro 800) with HMI for easy monitoring of pressure and temperature.
Efficient Operation: High-efficiency scroll compressors and 5-speed EC Evaporator motors.
Rugged Build: Baked enamel finish (Standard) with copper tube/aluminum fin coils; 304/316 Stainless Steel optional.
Safety: High/Low-pressure safety switches and thermal cut-off circuits for electric heaters.
